Heering Carries Successful Partnership with Hendrix Genetics into the American Market

Vaassen, January 26, 2018Heering, the Dutch-based company providing state-of-the-art transportation solutions to livestock breeders and farmers, is pleased to share their successful partnership with Hendrix Genetics. The stellar results shared by both companies led Heering to enter the American market, with plans to serve clients in both North and South America.

Hendrix Genetics focuses on the sustainable breeding of a range of animals and first utilized Heering technologies in North America in 2014 within their turkey business, Hybrid Turkeys. The Parent Stock (PS) delivery fleet utilized by Hybrid Turkeys was the first of its kind in North America. Since then, two additional Heering carriers have been added to their PS delivery fleet.

Scott Rowland, Hybrid Turkeys’ GM Americas noted, “Heering was, and continues to be, an ideal partner for our Parent Stock deliveries, as their equipment offers superior climate control, hygiene management, and operational reliability.”

In March of last year, Hendrix Genetics announced a major investment in a US Turkey distribution network. This investment includes new farms and hatcheries in Nebraska and South Dakota, upgrades to farms in Minnesota, and an innovative transportation fleet – including Heering technologies. Hybrid Turkeys realized the importance of maintaining a reliable fleet, due to the great distance between farms and hatcheries, and the potential for extreme weather.

“We’re proud of the successes of our first American partner, which in turn highlights our stellar products and services. Our advanced livestock transportation solutions have proven fundamental, especially with the extreme temperatures felt within the northern part of the United States last December. We pride ourselves on offering clients the entire package – including comprehensive customer support, lifetime services, and remote performance monitoring. This model has proven successful time and time again, and we’re thrilled to bring it to North and South America,” said Patrick Heering, General Manager and Owner of Heering.
