A Poultry Truck Driver/Operator
Animal transportation or live animal shipping come with distinct challenges. A truck driver plays an important role in reaching the highest possible quality of day-old chicks or hatching eggs upon arrival. In poultry transport, we believe the best drivers take care of the chicks left in their charge. They should fully understand the equipment, as well as their role in poultry performance. That’s why we offer training to encourage drivers to become ambassadors for their hatcheries.

Heering’s Driver Training
With our professional training, a truck driver is taught to be a chick truck driver/operator. Our extensive driver training packages include refreshment courses for experienced drivers or first-time training for new drivers. One part of the training consists of technical aspects: (e.g.: maintenance, hygiene or operating the system). The second part includes poultry specific aspects such as, live chicken handling, climate settings and poultry welfare. Training is given by our highly specialized technicians, service engineers and poultry specialists.

Training can be on-site at your hatchery, at the Heering factory or given remotely through Remote Assist.
